God Shall Supply all My Needs

BIBLE PASSAGE: Ephesians 3:16-21 (KJV)

16 That he would grant you, according to the riches of his glory, to be strengthened with might by his Spirit in the inner man; 17 That Christ may dwell in your hearts by faith; that ye, being rooted and grounded in love, 18 May be able to comprehend with all saints what is the breadth, and length, and depth, and height; 19 And to know the love of Christ, which passeth knowledge, that ye might be filled with all the fulness of God. 20 Now unto him that is able to do exceeding abundantly above all that we ask or think, according to the power that worketh in us, 21 Unto him be glory in the church by Christ Jesus throughout all ages, world without end. Amen.

HYMN: GREAT IS THY FAITHFULNESS

I want to sincerely appreciate the Almighty God for the privilege to see today and witness another Beauty for Ashes in March, 2024. May the name of the Lord be praised forever in Jesus name. We thank Him for January edition, ROLL AWAY THE STONE, we thank Him for February edition, I WILL GIVE YOU REST in which He actually gave and still giving us rest and now, He has promised to Supply all our needs, glory to Him forever in Jesus name.

According to Philippians 4:19 (KJV) But my God shall supply all your need according to his riches in glory by Christ Jesus., the Almighty God has promised to meet all our needs according to His riches in glory and not according to the economy of your nation.

Isaiah 49:15 (KJV) Can a woman forget her sucking child, that she should not have compassion on the son of her womb? yea, they may forget, yet will I not forget thee.

NOTE THE FOLLOWING POINTS VERY WELL

1. GOD IS THE ONLY ONE YOU NEED TO HAVE ALL YOUR NEEDS MET.
2. ALL YOUR NEEDS ARE IN GOD. I am saying all. Everything you need and you will ever need is in God. This is because everything seen and unseen came out of Him. For example
3. Healing. The Bible says It comes by His stripes
4. You need promotion, the Bible tells us PROMOTION comes from Him
5. You need children, the Bible calls them God’s best gift
6. You need help, it comes from above
7. You need money, the Bib says silver and gold belongs to Him
8.  You need a house,  The Bible says except the Lord builds
9. You need food, the Bible says he give food to all flesh
10. You need good wife or husband, you can only have through Him, when you obtain favor from Him
11.  You need answer to you prayer, still from God. Unto Him that answered prayer shall the gathering of His people be.
12. You need strength,  its also from the Lord. The Bible says He giveth strength to the weak.
13. You need wisdom, it is from Him. The Bible says if any lack Wisdom, ask Him
14. GOD HAS ALL IT TAKES TO SUPPLY THE NEEDS OF YOUR LIFE EVEN IF THE SITUATION AT HANDS DOES NOT LOOK IT. Ask father Abraham and mother Sarah.
15. GOD IS UNLIMITED IN POWER DON’T, ALLOW YOUR NEEDS TO LIMIT YOUR GOD.
16. GOD IS A CARING FATHER, NO WONDER HE GIVES AN OPEN CHEQUE TO CAST ALL OUR BURDEN ON HIM. This is because He cares.
17. THE GOD WE SERVE IS CALLED JEHOVAH OVERDO. He can do above what you ask or think.
18. NO REQUEST LOOKS STUPID OR RIDICULOUS BEFORE HIM, ASK UNTIL YOUR JOY IS FULL. A man once asked God about his height, and God increased his height
19. GOD IS NOT STRUGGLING TO HAVE OUR NEEDS BUT TO MEET THEM.

I want to start this morning by letting you know that all you will ever need in life is in God. What God expects from you in order to have your needs met is to ask Him and He will deliver. Matthew 7:7 (KJV) Ask, and it shall be given you; seek, and ye shall find; knock, and it shall be opened unto you:

This week of this Beauty for Ashes,  the Almighty God will meet your needs. God wants to supply our needs this week and that is why He has given us the theme. Be rest assured that your needs will be met in Jesus name.

Listen and listen good, the major thing that I will like you to hold on to this week and I want it sink in your mind is that IT IS ONLY IN GOD THAT MY NEEDS CAN BE MET. only Him and no one else. The major challenge we do have even as children of God many atimes is that we look at someone else and not God. Let me quickly paint a scenario that happened here in Lafia. Two people slumped in two different churches, one made the other did not.

Jas.4.2 You want what you don’t have, so you scheme and kill to get it. You are jealous for what others have, and you can’t possess it, so you fight and quarrel to take it away from them. And yet the reason you don’t have what you want is that you don’t ask God for it. (NLT)

That is just the problem majority of us have. For example your brother is working somewhere and you want to work there, you think you don’t need God again, it’s your brother you need, you are walking towards failure.

Let me give you three examples from the Bible. Gen.30.1 When Rachel saw that she wasn’t having any children, she became jealous of her sister. “Give me children, or I’ll die!” she exclaimed to Jacob. 2 Jacob flew into a rage. “Am I God?” he asked. “He is the only one able to give you children!” (NLT)

Rachel has been making mistake that Jacob is responsible for her barrenness. But Jacob made her understand that what she is looking for can only be given by God. Am not God.

Stop directing your requests to man, speak to God first, before you engage man. It is God that will direct that man or that woman to meet that needs of yours.

2Kings.5.6 The letter to the king of Israel said: “With this letter I present my servant Naaman. I want you to heal him of his leprosy.” 7 When the king of Israel read it, he tore his clothes in dismay and said, “This man sends me a leper to heal! Am I God, that I can kill and give life? He is only trying to find an excuse to invade us again.” (NLT)

From that passage, you can see that the King of Israel recognised it is only God who heals and no one else

2Kings.6.26 One day as the king of Israel was walking along the wall of the city, a woman called to him, “Please help me, my lord the king!”.27 “If the LORD doesn’t help you, what can I do?” he retorted. “I have neither food nor wine to give you.” (NLT)

When are requests are directed to men, you can hardly have what you are looking unto God for. Talk to God before talking to men.

Don’t fall into error of Rachel, ask God.

God can meet all needs and in all ramifications of life.

YOUR PHYSICAL NEEDS.

1 Peter 2:24 (KJV) Who his own self bare our sins in his own body on the tree, that we, being dead to sins, should live unto righteousness: by whose stripes ye were healed.

Your physical needs can be met by God. For example, you are sick in your body, my God can take that sickness away from you. Just like He did for blind Barthmeaus.

MENTAL NEEDS

This has to do with needs that have been affecting your thinking faculty. You don’t sleep again. You think all day long.  The Lord is telling you in 1 Peter 5:7 (KJV) Casting all your care upon him; for he careth for you.

MARITAL NEEDS

Challenges like barrenness, singleness etc, the Lord can still supply. Jesus can meet those need.  Ruth was a widow that was hopeless about her future, but God divinely positioned her and gave her the best man of their time.

BUSINESS NEEDS

What is it that is not doing well now, talk to God, Jesus can restore it for you. All you need is to forget your expertise and look to Jesus. Peter was a business man but also,failed. It was Jesus that helped him, He will also help you today in Jesus.

FINANCIAL NEEDS

Still talking on financial needs, it is Jesus you need. He said silver and gold are His. So how do you have access to silver and gold outside Him except you want to be a thief.

NEED OF JOBS

Are you tired of joblessness, talk to Jesus before meeting people. He can give you a job that you will not need to follow protocols. I told you about my wife was it last week or two weeks ago. God is still in the business of doing so.

SPIRITUAL NEEDS ALSO CAN BE MET.

If you discover your challenge looks spiritual, call on Jesus. Like the mad man of gadara, Jesus attended to his case.

ACADEMIC NEEDS

Have you been experiencing failure in your studies, speak to God about it. James 1:5 (KJV) If any of you lack wisdom, let him ask of God, that giveth to all men liberally, and upbraideth not; and it shall be given him.

WHAT DO I NEED TO DO FOR MY NEEDS TO BE SUPPLIED?

1. FLEE FROM ALL FORMS OF SINS AND ITS APPEARANCES. The Bible says God does not hear sinners. 1 THESS 5:22
2. ASK GOD IN FAITH. If you ask God doubting,  you may not receive anything from Him. JAMES 1:6
3. DON’T CONTRACT PRAYERS OUT, BE INVOLVED.  The Bible says He that asketh receives, be the one to ask God yourself. MATTHEW 7:8
4. DON’T LOOK ELSEWHERE,  YOUR NEEDS ARE IN GOD.
5. ASK. A FOR ASK, S FOR SEEK A D K FOR KNOCK
6. WAIT UPON HIM FOR YOUR NEEDS.You don’t determine when your answer will come, God does. Psalms 104:27 (KJV)  These wait all upon thee; that thou mayest give them their meat in due season.
